I find your comments concerning a continuously running fan versus the intermittently running fan on my dehumidifier to be spot on. I have temporarily run my drain line so that it empties into a 5 gallon bucket so I could monitor it's performance. I find that in similar temperature and RH situations my machine removes 3-4 times more water daily in continuous fan mode. I have done this test about three times over a 5-6 week period. Also, by placing my machine in my attached garage and ducting it through the common cinder block wall into my house's crawl space noise is virtually eliminated. Filter changes will be easy since I can just walk into the garage instead of crawling under the house to access the machine.
Your website helped me get this system designed and I'm very happy with it and very grateful for your help.
